Vulcan Energy Secures Conditional €120m Support from Export Finance Australia

Vulcan Energy Resources Limited has announced that Export Finance Australia (EFA) has conditionally approved a funding commitment of €120 million (approximately AU$196 million). This financial backing plays a crucial role in Vulcan's debt financing strategy for its initial phase of an integrated lithium and renewable energy project.

This recent approval follows a non-binding Letter of Support that the company received in October 2023. The approval from EFA is contingent upon the completion of final due diligence and the execution of necessary legal documentation, including an Australian export contract. Vulcan Energy anticipates securing additional commitments from other funding sources in the forthcoming weeks.
