VusionGroup and Walmart US strengthen their collaboration to digitalize stores
VusionGroup (VU - FR0010282822) and Walmart US announced an extension of their framework agreement, providing for an acceleration of the deployment of EdgeSense and VusionCloud technologies. This new amendment aims to transform the merchandising, inventory management and e-commerce order preparation processes at the American brand.
The total amount of new orders, estimated at approximately 1 billion Euros, will be recognized in the results of the coming quarters. Philippe Bottine, CEO Americas & Group Deputy CEO of VusionGroup, expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the digitalization of Walmart US points of sale, allowing large-scale optimization thanks to their IoT technologies.
The warrants granted to Walmart during the Annual General Meeting of VusionGroup, held on June 2, 2023, will be activated following this contractual development.
