Wendel announces the sale of Stahl's wet-end division

Wendel welcomed the recent announcement of Stahl’s sale of its wet-end leather chemicals division to a subsidiary of Syntagma Capital. This transaction, subject to customary closing conditions, marks a new step in Stahl’s strategic refocusing on specialty coatings. This transaction follows the acquisition of Weilburger Graphics in 2024 and ICP Industrial Solutions Group in 2023. Stahl, now a global leader, is focusing on high-performance coatings, while complying with ESG standards, with Ecovadis Platinum status. The project includes the sale of 428 employees and sites in Italy and India.
