Woodfords Family Services Announces Information Security Incident

Woodfords Family Services identified an unauthorized access to their network on or around April 8, 2024. Expert assistance was immediately sought to investigate the incident.

The company retained outside counsel and IT forensic specialists to uncover the cause and scope of the breach. Despite the breach, daily operations continued without disruption.

The investigation revealed that limited personal information, such as names, addresses, medical records, and other patient care data, may have been accessed. Currently, there is no evidence of data misuse.

Woodfords advises everyone to monitor credit reports and financial statements as a precaution. Free annual credit reports can be obtained through www.annualcreditreport.com or by calling 1-877-322-8228.
