Zoned and 5-Hour ENERGY Partner to Host Flavor Wars Fortnite Competition

FRISCO, TX / ACCESSWIRE / August 13, 2024 / Zoned, a subsidiary of GameSquare Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: GAME), and 5-hour ENERGY® have teamed up to host Flavor Wars, a Fortnite streamer community competition. This event celebrates Fortnite’s 230 million monthly active users by offering fans the chance to compete for a $10,000 cash prize and the title of ultimate gaming fanbase.

The competition, designed to engage gaming audiences who favor interactive brand engagements, showcases the collaboration between 5-hour ENERGY® and Fortnite. Research by Newzoo shows that a significant portion of older demographics engage in gaming. The Flavor Wars map, created by Zoned using the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), will launch on August 13 at 10:30 a.m. PST.

Popular Fortnite streamers CouRage, LEGIQN, and Sparkles_QT will lead teams based on 5-hour ENERGY® flavors: Apple Bash, Pineapple Charge, and Rocket Raspberry. Teams will compete in a 'Zone Wars' game mode, using in-game 5-hour ENERGY® power-ups to gain an edge. The winning team will receive the grand prize and gain gaming champion status.
