DEAG reports strong results for the first half of 2026
- Buy-and-build strategy consistently pursued and minority interests further reduced
- Revenue of EUR 157.4 million, EBITDA of EUR 6.5 million
- Already significantly more than 6 million tickets sold and a strong event pipeline
- DEAG 2025/2029 bond: Written Resolution on amendment of the bond terms and conditions from 01 September 2026 to 15 September 2026
Revenue for the first six months amounted to EUR 157.4 million, slightly above the previous year’s figure of EUR 155.4 million. In the second quarter of 2026, DEAG generated revenue of approximately EUR 95.2 million (previous year: EUR 88.4 million). At EUR 6.5 million, EBITDA for the first half of the year was virtually unchanged from the previous year’s figure of EUR 6.6 million. In the second quarter, EBITDA was EUR 4.4 million, significantly higher than the previous year’s figure of EUR 3.1 million.
At the same time, DEAG invested in the expansion of selected event formats and in the further digitalisation and automation of its business processes, including ticketing technologies, data-driven audience analytics and AI-supported event management solutions. The company intends to continue these investments in order to further increase the scalability of its business model and generate additional synergies between its ticketing and events businesses.
Continuation of the buy-and-build strategy and successful events
DEAG further strengthened its strong market position in the festival business in the first half of 2026 by acquiring a majority stake in the “Juicy Beats” music festival. In addition, the company increased its stake in the EDM festival “Airbeat One” from 55 % to 75 %. Moreover, the company acquired all minority interests in live entertainment promoter Wizard Live during the reporting period and acquired a majority stake in connected: Events & Live Marketing GmbH.
Between January and June, DEAG once again delighted millions of visitors by staging thousands of concerts, tours and live events. Highlights included concerts and tours by artists such as Die Toten Hosen, Iron Maiden, Yungblud, Foreigner and Böhse Onkelz, for whose tour more than 435,000 tickets were sold, as well as the very successful tour of Thomas Anders. Shows such as Cavalluna and Disney on Ice were also major successes, as were the popular "An Evening with..." format and the international literature festival lit.COLOGNE in the Spoken Word & Literary Events segment. In the third and fourth quarters, DEAG’s events calendar includes, among others, concerts and tours featuring Zucchero, Duran Duran, Alison Moyet, Tokio Hotel, Judas Priest, Nena and Simone Sommerland. Within the Spoken Word & Literary Events, visitors can look forward to exciting evenings with former US President Barack Obama and actor Michael Douglas. In 2027, the line-up will include Don Omar, Florent Pagny, Sabaton, Die Ärzte, Andrea Bocelli and Five Finger Death Punch, among others, who are set to thrill audiences.
Revenue expected well above EUR 400 million in 2026, growth trajectory to continue from 2027 onwards
DEAG is on track to achieve annual revenue of well over EUR 400 million for the full year 2026. As expected, revenue for the current financial year will be below the previous year’s level due to the typical volatility in live entertainment and DEAG’s specific event calendar. For the years to come, DEAG aims to continue its growth trajectory. Its objective remains unchanged: to sustainably increase its EBITDA margin in the medium term while driving both profitability and strategic growth. Ticket sales in 2026 are expected to remain at a similarly high level as in the previous year. As of the end of June 2026, DEAG had already sold significantly more than 6 million tickets for events in 2026 and 2027. The majority of these were sold via the Group’s own ticketing platforms.
“Our performance in the first half of the year was fully in line with our expectations. With a strong event pipeline and high visibility for the coming quarters, we are looking ahead with confidence and believe we are well on the way to achieving our long-term goals,” said Detlef Kornett, Group CEO of DEAG.

Date set for Written Resolution on amendment of Nordic Bond terms and conditions
The Nordic Trustee of the DEAG 2025/2029 bond (ISIN: NO0013639112) has, at DEAG’s request, initiated a Written Resolution to amend the bond terms and conditions. The voting period for the Written Resolution will run from 01 September 2026 to 15 September 2026 (4:00 p.m. CEST).
The proposed amendment is related to the previously announced cash capital increase excluding shareholders’ subscription rights (see ad hoc announcement dated 20 August 2026), pursuant to which Apeiron Investment Group Ltd. will subscribe for 2,500,000 new DEAG shares at an issue price of EUR 4.00 per share, subject to the amendment becoming effective. As a result, Apeiron and its affiliated companies would hold more than 50% of DEAG’s shares and voting rights, constituting a Change of Control under the bond terms and conditions. The purpose of the Written Resolution is to obtain bondholders’ approval to waive the rights that would otherwise arise as a result of such Change of Control. In consideration of this waiver, DEAG is offering a one-off payment equal to 0.10% of the nominal value of the outstanding bonds.
Further information and documents relating to the Written Resolution are available on the DEAG website in the Investor Relations section under Bond 2025/2029.
Results of the Annual General Meeting
Furthermore, DEAG announces that, at the Annual General Meeting for the 2025 financial year held on 25 August 2026, Tobias Buck, the former Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Vincent Wobbe, a regular member of the Supervisory Board, were re-elected as members of the Supervisory Board.
Further information on the Annual General Meeting and the complete voting results are available in the Investor Relations/Annual General Meeting section of the DEAG website.
