EQS-Adhoc: DATA MODUL Aktiengesellschaft Produktion und Vertrieb von elektronischen Systemen: Decline in sales and earnings during the third quarter of 2024 compared to the same period of the previous year

According to a preliminary analysis, sales and earnings of DATA MODUL AG declined in the third quarter of fiscal year 2024, compared to the results achieved in the same period of the previous year. The reason for this essentially remains to be the continuously strained overall market situation.

The group EBIT in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2024 amounted to EUR 2.1 million, marking a reduction of approx. 69% in comparison to the same period of the previous year (EUR 6.8 million). Group sales declined by approx. 21% to EUR 57.7 million in the third quarter of 2024 in comparison to EUR 72.7 million in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2023. Bookings reduced by approx. 20% to EUR 49.1 million in comparison to EUR 61.3 million for the same period of the previous year.

The Company will publish definitive results for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2024 on November 8, 2024.

Due to the numbers achieved in 2024 to date the company adjusts its guidance on key performance indicators for the entire fiscal year of 2024 as follows: instead of the hitherto projected key performance objectives, as compared to the fiscal year 2023, of -20% to 0% for orders received, of -20% to 0% for sales, and of -50% to -20% for EBIT, the company now projects key performance indicators of -25% to -15% for orders received, -25% to -15% for sales, and -60% to -40% for EBIT, all as compared to the fiscal year 2023.
